I lived and worked in Norway for over 10 years a while back. This meant I was tax liable to Norway for 3 more years after I left. I now consider to return to Norway for a medium term assignment. Around 18 months. If I do, will I again be tax liable to Norway for 3 more years after I leave, even though my stay this time is shorter than 10 years?

The answer depends on the tax agreement between Norway and the country that you will live in after you end your work.
